great jacket! I love it! I was surprised when I received it to discover that it was not the same color as pictured but overall wonderful! Be careful! See the description of the listed color instead of the image! I ordered the high grey and thought it contained a white layer, but it is not! The photo showed gray and white though.. overall wonderful coat! If you love so much, or better yet one that would get! Another purchase very soon!

I bought this jacket for a music festival all day that he expected to stay around the mid 60s and rain ALL DAY. I purchased this coat for travelling in Iceland. I live in the Midwest, so they have more of a winter coat, but are all bulky and I needed someone who would be ok for everyday excursions. This worked perfectly. It was 40 's-50 's with a breeze and have never been cold in this coat. I wore it literally from the minute I woke up in the morning for the second I in my sleeping bag. I live in Colorado and this winter's weather has been below zero. This lightweight jacket is surprisingly warm. good for around town or for short trips in below zero Weather. won't hold up under a strong wind, but less than 15 MPH winds to freezing are tolerable.

Although the general rule is to order one size for North Face jackets, I think in this style, keep with your normal size. I purchased this for my husband who usually wears size large in tops. --and most likely could have kept with this jacket in a large. sleeve length is good. If you stretch your arms straight, the sleeves are wrist length. zippered collar up to provide soft heat without being too stiff. and amazingly the hood fits well to cover

I'm glad I tried this in the store before you buy. I wear a size large, reliable in any shirt or jacket that I try. my hands also appear at the end of the sleeves when I tried this jacket in a large. do yourself a favor and size down a size. I tried the medium and it fits perfectly. It is as if this resized like I want to be wearing a backpack under it. all of that said, it's a good raincoat to wear around town in showers.

a fleece is lighter than I expected but it's very well done. the hinge is solid and it works well and is nice and straight stitches. I ordered a small because I like these types of tight-fitting Jackets. fits like a Med a little big, but probably perfect when I have a thicker shirt on. I love the bright color (purple pink)! Is the excellent quality you expect from Columbia.

I have a downsweater look-alike Uniqlo Hoodie. I use a lot during the winter hiking/snowshoeing. It's a life saver. However, it is not good when the rain, snow and heavy fog so I want to get a version without the hood down (I prefer a beanie; hood block peripheral vision). This one fits. It is highly compressible and lightweight. the fit is slightly spacious (for me) so I can wear it over a couple of layers. collapses down when I wear a
